Haven't made much blog entries lately, as most of the time I'm either clueless as to what I should write about or I'm just plain busy going out and spending my days under the gloomy clouds that I'm too tired to write anything in this blog and end up catching the much-needed beauty sleep. Feeling knackered at the moment as my body aches for some sleep and rest. Spent the whole day out, regardless of rain or shine, with the much-awaited trip to Scienceworks Museum to check out the Star Wars exhibition (more on that later).
Just the day before against my better judgement, I finally took part in BssMelb's bootcamp session (which has been resumed after a 2-to-3 week hiatus). Torture to my body but grueling fun and joined in on a quick session of football (soccer, for you Americans lol) that took place after.
Today I woke up like I had never experienced pain before in my life. Muscles are stiff and sore which tighten with every twist and turn my body makes. All I can think to myself is: feel the burn, baby! So back to the Star Wars exhibition. When we arrived to the Scienceworks Museum, by god.... the queue for the tickets were LONG... and when I say long, I mean... around-the-building-long! But thankfully it wasn't such a bad wait as we had plenty of distractions. It gave us enough time to think about what we wanted see... in the end we all opted to go for the Star Wars exhibition and skipped out on the planetarium (good choice, I say). To kill time, we decided on indulging the kid in ourselves before the show and ran about the other parts of the museum, checking out on everything!
As for the Star Wars, thinking back I was a tad bit disappointed to see that the exhibition wasn't as big as I expected it to be, since I know that with its movie production the movie crew had heavily invested time and energy to create some things beyond this world, such as hovering crafts, bio-prosthetic arms and so much more. Ah well... I learnt of so many things and got to see how some innovations originating from Star Wars were implimented into real-life.
However that being said, the exhibition was awesome!! I had the grand opportunity to see (in real life) some of my favourite star wars characters: the infamous storm troopers, sand troopers, jedi fighters and not forgetting: real-life R2D2 and Darth Vader! Oh yeah, awesome baby! I should also add that with dismay: I didn't build up the courage to take a photo of myself with my Star Wars idols. Have to say... I was shy, shy... He he... and besides, that would mean I have to fight for a place with other children to get the photo-op... hehe no thanks.
