.An Old Friend In Town.

October 3, 2008

.The Gang & Ms Athletics.

It has been nearly 5 years since we've last gotten together and properly hung out.... Now, taking the grand opportunity (since we're both pretty much in the same country) one of my lifelong dearest friends came to town for a visit. So many years have passed between us and I'm still quite surprised at how strong our friendship is - despite not being able to see each other grow up, despite not having seen each other for so long, despite the challenges, experiences and differences we all faced alone without each others supports... We're all still tightly knit, if not closer than before.

Just a brief history: our friendship began more than 8 years ago, when we were all wee little children attending a small afternoon school in Brunei. Since then we've become great friends. There were the four of us: Ms Athletics, Ms600, MsDT and myself,in the same class, with the same friends... and always ALWAYS up to no good. hahaha.... Reminiscing the old times always brings a smile to my face, there are so many stories we can tell you - the little adventures we had and all the trouble we caused... hahaha

.The Good Old Chum: Ms DT & Ms Athletics.

Having spent a week in Melbourne touring and backpacking with her friends, Ms Athletics decided to spend what was her last day in Melbourne with us. Unfortunately on that day, Ms DT couldn't join us for the fun... so tagging Kim, Ms SG & Mr DG along, we took her for a treat to the Italian part of the city: Lygon.

.In Lygon.

.The Discovery of Gelato Ice Cream.

The weather was quite peculiar with bits of sunshine and rain occuring throughout the day. Nevertheless that didn't stop anyone of us from enjoying a scoop of italian gelato ice cream in the city, after a fulfilling feast in Nasi Lemak House.
Had it not been for the rain, we would've definitely taken a nice long stroll down to Bourke St from Lygon before taking Ms Athletics to meet the rest of the Melbruneian gang at Sasmonroe's house.

.The Making of new friends and Reviving of the old.

Her arrival in Melbourne was in perfect timing for we were in the midsts of celebrating Eid Mubarak and on that day it was held in Sasmonroe's house.
It was a fun time... and being quite the approachable person, Ms Athletics got along pretty well with the rest of the gang - it was a day full of laughter as each person sought to tease and joke with one another.

.For Old time's sake.
