The eventful Sunday
Mr Canon talking to the cab...
A very eventful Sunday to say the least... actually everyday has pretty much been that way since Wednesday - roaming about the streets of Melbourne in search of new discoveries and opportunities for photography, not that I'm complaining! I actually LOVE it...
The newly-weds in the cab to the apt
Back to the events of today: what started out as a peaceful, comforting and blissful sleep was quickly interrupted by an unexpected guest (well, he was expected... just that we expected him to arrive a week later). It started with an nice sleep... when a brother's friend had dropped into town for a week's visit and coincidentally, Kim happened to be away for the weekend snowboarding with his friends....
Ms DT during the walk through the city...
Yup, that's how our Sunday began: with a jolt out of bed for myself, Ms DT and Mr DG to greet our brother's friend who showed up at our doorstep at ten in the morning. Darn... and there I was hoping to stay in bed a little longer for the weekend...
Mr Canon on the tram...
Already being wide awake, each of us took turns to hit the showers before meeting up with Mr Canon - Sunday was also the day Ms V's sister (and recently-acquired husband) arrived into town for a visit. Ms V had asked us to take them around town for the day as she is still currently out of the country.
The ever-shy husband awaiting his newly wife's lunch...
Unfortunately we couldn't bring them out as much as the sister had suffered a horrendous headache, so instead we headed out for lunch with the ever-shy husband as she rested her head back at the apartment. Off to Es Teler we went and dear god, despite being two in the afternoon, the restaurant was MEGA-packed...
Kim & his friend as we walked to Coles...
Havin' eaten late lunch, we headed back to the apartment making a quick stop by Coles for a little fruit shopping and with a quick adieu, bid the husband goodbye as he went off to tend to his poor new wife. On our way back, we bumped into Kim (who came back that very afternoon) and his recently-arrived friend.
This is what we do at Myers...
So what did we do?? We headed off to Myers and discovered our inner child in the store's toy department! Hahaha... indulging in our inner child's needs. It was quite fun... we ended up buying two of the same toy: the 20Q pocket game toy.
Indulging in the "inner child"...
An awesome toy to have! Based on asking AT LEAST 20 questions, this little pocket toy has the ability to determine what object/animal/etc you're thinking of! Don't believe me?? Get the toy yourself and try it out! This little toy has kept our minds whirling the whole night tonight!
