Over the past few days, our social network has grown considerably at a tremendous rate: existing friendships have solidified and strengthen more as many new friendship bonds are exchanged. We keep our friends close to our hearts as we befriend acquaintances and new strangers, bringing more colourful characters into our lives.

I once read that life is similar to that of a painting, with each event that's happened and each person you come across in your life, they bring with them a wonderful array of colours, tones and hues into your life. Be it good or bad, as you step back to taken in the view, you are only left with one thing: a masterpiece. Life is what you make it to be.

As we carry on in this thing often called Life, it's undoubtedly certain that we will face some of the hardest challenges in our lives. But no matter where you go, what you're doing or who you're with, one ought not forget his friends. Friends may appear and disappear in your lives, but one thing I've learnt is that their impact on your existence will always remain.

Yeah there maybe times when you seem to feel the strain on your friendship, but as I've learnt: try to be understanding. Everyone has their flaws. Aside from your point of view, try and see perspectives from theirs - maybe that may allow you to understand their faults. Understand that not everyone is the same and certainly not everyone may share the same views as yours.

To think that one is faultless is a fault on one's own, for it is egotistical.
