Yesterday afternoon marked a historical moment in the BSSMelbourne books as the fo
unding committee members of the established student society handed down their 
rights to the 2008-2009 newly elected committee members.
Initiated by the former members of the BSSMelb, the AGM (annual general meeting) for the student society was held in Es Teler Restaurant's new franchise in Lygon, Melbourne. I was initially quite surprised by the big presence of Bruneian students there during the meeting., however it was good to see everyone together. It was certainly a good occassion with very little drama, as everyone sought to futher develope their friendships and foster new acquaintances with others.
Congratulations to all the newly elected committee members! I'm sure this coming year will be quite the challenge for all of us but despite it all, I certainly look forward to working with you guys with
the hopes of uniting all Melbruneian students together, sharing fun & fond memories of time spent with each other.
