A Colourful World

May 5, 2008

It's one of the few things I take comfort in knowing when I think about this world: the fact that it's home to some of the most vibrant, colourful things in life. It makes the whole world a more beautiful place to be in.

Yesterday, we decided to go brunching at Gold an' Fork (get the jibe?) and spoil ourselves over their yummy yummy briyani. As it was a nice day, we all opt to walk there. It was quite humorous, we had arrived early only to find out that it was still closed. So what did we do? We lingered about right in front of the restaurant, until a guy came out and invited us in. So yes... we were the first customers of the day!! Yay!!!... until we found out that we had to wait 30mins for our food... after our food arrived, i can safely tell you 30mins was worth the wait... MmmMMMMmmm!

After the sumptuous filling meal, we headed up the street to Victoria Market. Our intention was to do a little bit of veggie shopping... and oh yeah, it was little alright: 2 veggie (broccoli and mushrooms). We spent the next two-three hours, mucking about, trying out crazy things and taking crazy-fun photos - as you can see from below . For more pictures click here
