Movie: Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

June 4, 2008

As most of you may know, the latest Indiana Jones movie is finally out: Managed to catch it last week with Ms DT, Ms SG and Mr DG. Indiana Jones has always been an all-time favourite action movie.

Jam-packed with adventure and mystery, together we watch Indiana Jones scavenge through d
eep forests in search of new wonders and ancient civilization, meanwhile fighting villains, surviving ancient traps and... snakes... who could want more??

For those who are still keen to watch it, don't worry.. I won't reveal the ending. As a young child, I had always followed up with the Indiana Jones movies, so naturally I hoped the latest one lived up to its hype since the past movies were all awesome! I still remember my dad possessing the Indiana Jones collection
on old VCR tapes... hehe people don't use that anymore, do they?

This fourth release of Indiana Jones is a bit of a let down. Don't get me wrong, it's full of action-packed sequences and heart-stopping moments which I loved every bit of... However, in comparison to the other Indie J movies, this was a bummer, particularly the ending...Trust Steven Spielberg to do a movie of this kind... sheesh

The ending could've packed more punch...Unfortunately, it did affect the quality of the movie and brought down the whole story line, which was a disappointment. Indiana Jones movies
always had good plotlines..I think perhaps people who don't follow the Indiana Jones series will be pleased with this one...

But for those avid Indie Jones fans... it may fail to live up to its former hypes. If you do decide to go and watch it at the theaters, make sure you don't expect much from it..

On a side note: Unfortunately, I will no longer be shooting with the Canon 400d, as Mr Canon sold it to Liverpoolian *sob* *sob*. However the good news is that Mr Canon has gotten himself the better and more superior Canon 40D!
